I have formed Real Lava, a documentary film company that will produce international documentary films and series with high artistic value and cinematic storytelling for broadcasters and streaming services as well as for theatrical distributors. The most important of my films will impact democracy, gender equality and freedom of speech.

I have many years of experience producing these kind of films and with my new partner Newen International, I also have the possibility to invest in developing and producing International documentary films and series. To get the films and series up to higher level cinematically without being rushed and needing to go into production fast.
I hope in this new company to attract both local filmmakers from Denmark and Scandinavia, and even to co-produce with Danish and Scandinavian production companies, but also to work freely with international talent, eventhough the company is based
in Denmark.
It’s a great period for International Documentary Films and series, they have never been as popular as they are now especially with the many streaming platforms we have, so to keep focusing on aiming high artistically is important, and with the new company Real Lava, I am able to invest and help the directors work with the artistic vision in the development phase.
